COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $18.75 – $19.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-time, W2
ROLE IMPACT
The Order Picker/Packer plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately selecting, verifying, and packaging products for shipment. This position supports efficient order fulfillment and warehouse accuracy through attention to detail, safe handling, and adherence to company quality standards.
KEY DUTIES
• Operate voice-directed picking system to locate and select products for customer orders
• Verify product type, quantity, and condition during picking and packing processes
• Choose appropriate packaging materials to protect products during shipment
• Neatly and securely pack items, including bubble wrapping fragile products and bagging small or liquid items
• Maintain accurate production logs and communicate discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors
• Dispose of packaging materials and maintain clean, safe workspace
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or comparable work experience)
• Strong reading, writing, math, and basic computer skills required
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle multiple assignments accurately
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Capable of differentiating between similar products by size, color, or vendor code
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Use of voice-directed systems, carts, and conveyor equipment
• Fast-paced warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, and light to moderate lifting
• Must maintain safety and quality standards at all times
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Previous experience in warehousing, order picking, or fulfillment operations
• Knowledge of basic warehouse systems and order processing workflows
• Familiarity with packaging and shipping procedures
