Trident Consulting is seeking a "Packaging Operator 1" for one of our direct clients . A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title: Packaging Operator 1

Site / Location: Martin, SC 29836, USA

Contract – W2

Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2

Interview: 30-minute in-person interview

Work Schedule: Hours/Day: 8 / Hours/Week: 40 (Monday–Friday)

Job Description

The role supports the manufacturing of chemical products according to established protocols. Responsibilities include:

Production & Operations

• Perform production operations per process procedures
• Packaging operations according to production guidelines
• Transport chemicals/equipment using pumps, piping, forklifts, pallet jacks, or dollies
• Ensure quality and quantity of products during production
• Clean up equipment and work areas post-production

Compliance & Documentation

• Dispose of waste properly and complete documentation
• Communicate process, product, and equipment status to supervisors
• Complete accurate batch records consistent with quality guidelines
• Fill out all applicable log books

Safety & PPE

• Follow production procedures and safety policies at all times
• Wear appropriate PPE (may include full-face respirators, gloves, suits)
• Label in-process equipment and containers properly
• Take action to resolve unsafe conditions
• Participate in required safety and quality training

Housekeeping & Teamwork

• Maintain clean working areas and laboratories
• Communicate and work effectively with team members

Qualifications

• Education: AA in Life Sciences (1–2 years experience) or High School Diploma (1–3 years experience) in similar environment
• Experience: 1–2 years chemical manufacturing experience preferred
• Essential Skills:
• Safe chemical handling
• Forklift operation
• Communication (oral & written)
• Mechanical & troubleshooting skills
• Computer literacy
• Interpersonal and organizational skills
