Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Laundry Attendant to support daily hotel laundry operations in a fast-paced environment. The Laundry Attendant ensures guests receive clean, fresh linens by operating commercial laundry equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting hotel staff with linen quality and availability.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate commercial washers and dryers according to hotel standards
• Sort linens, towels, and laundry by type and soil level
• Load and unload machines, ensuring proper cleaning and care of hotel linens
• Fold, stack, and organize clean linens for efficient distribution
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and report issues to supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room, equipment, and work areas
• Refill detergents, chemicals, and supplies as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with hotel staff and guests
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs , stand, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
• Dependable with strong attendance and willingness to work weekends
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
