Job Description

Our client in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Contract Specialist to manage and negotiate domestic contracts. This is a 1-Year Temporary role paying $35-$40/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–5:00PM

Work Environment: Hybrid role with remote work available after a 90-day training period

Responsibilities:

• Manage, prepare, and negotiate domestic low- to medium-risk contracts of varying complexity, including NDAs, event contracts, amendments, SOWs, and engagement letters
• Review contracts for completeness and accuracy
• Support senior counsel as needed
• Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation for easy access and retrieval
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, risk, IT, procurement) to ensure contract terms align with organizational capacity and business strategy
• Facilitate communication between the organization and third parties to clarify contract conditions and ensure mutual understanding

Requirements:

• Fundamental knowledge of legal documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail

Preferred:

• Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad)
