Description Provides and assists in the provision of, direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN and whose activities require an understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements. Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License. Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Some college courses in nursing or therapy field. 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care. Why Join Providence?
