Strategic Leader for a High-Growth Retail Organization

Are you a seasoned financial executive ready to lead in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment? We’re seeking a hands-on CFO to drive financial strategy and execution for a rapidly expanding retail company. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives on balancing big-picture vision with practical, day-to-day financial management.

As CFO, you’ll oversee Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, IT, and Budget Forecasting , ensuring the company’s growth and financial health. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape strategy, optimize performance, and guide a lean, high-performing finance team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all aspects of accounting and finance , including cash flow, AR/AP, inventory, and reconciled financial statements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic growth.
• Oversee financial controls, compliance, and risk management .
• Partner with leadership on M&A, capital investments, and strategic planning .
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Enhance systems and reporting for actionable insights and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven CFO experience in growth-focused organizations with revenues of $1B+.
• 10+ years leading accounting and IT teams in multi-site operations (500+ locations).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus).
• Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial controls .
• M&A experience and ability to manage complex financial deals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience with PDI accounting software is highly desired.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a 24/7 mindset.
